01Why green

Your readiness score is one honest number built from your own studying: how much of the deck you've covered, how you score in timed practice, and how you do on the material you missed before. Green means you've worked the whole deck and you're answering at exam-pass level under the clock. It is the same bar we'd want any friend to clear before walking into a PSI test center. We built the guarantee around it because it's objective, it lives in your account, and it's the very work that gets people through the exam.

02How to qualify

   Get to green before your exam date. Reach a green readiness score in the app for the exam you're claiming on: Law & Business, your trade exam, or both. Your readiness history is stored in your account, so we can see it. Nothing to screenshot.

   Take the exam within 12 months of your purchase. That's your access year. Green first, then the exam.

   Didn't pass? Send proof within 60 days of your exam date. Email your official result notice and your order number to support@licenseladder.com. Details on what counts as proof are below.

03What counts as proof

• Your official exam result from the CSLB or its testing vendor (PSI). A photo or scan of the score report or result notice is fine, as long as it shows your name, the exam, the date, and the result.
• Your order number, or the email you used at checkout, so we can find your purchase.
• That's it. We check your readiness history in your account ourselves.

04What you get back

• The full purchase price of your License Ladder order, to your original payment method, normally within 10 business days of approving your claim.
• Keep the cards. We don't ask for the physical deck back on a guarantee claim.
• App access ends when a purchase is refunded.
• The guarantee covers what you paid us. It does not cover CSLB application fees, PSI exam or retake fees, travel, or anything else outside your License Ladder order.

05The fine print, kept short

• The guarantee applies once per customer.
• It is a refund guarantee on your License Ladder purchase. It is not a guarantee of licensure, and License Ladder is not affiliated with the CSLB.
• The version of the guarantee in effect when you bought is the one that applies to you. If this page and the Terms of Service ever differ, the Terms control.
• Separate from the guarantee: you can return the physical materials within 30 days of delivery for a refund, no exam required. See Returns & refunds.

06How to claim

Email support@licenseladder.com with the subject line "Guarantee claim", attach your result notice, and include your order number. A real person replies within one business day and tells you exactly where the claim stands.
